The path to 499 Doors. Greg grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. His father, grandfather, and uncles were entrepreneurs. Today, he has mentored both of his children, who are entrepreneurs. He started cooking in the kitchen of his father’s snack bar and night club at the tender age of 9, during the summers. He also had a paper route in the winter months. His father would leave him in charge of a staff of employees, all older than him. He attended Norwich University, where he studied business administration. In his early 20s, he was the youngest store manager to complete Friendly’s Ice Cream management training program. Then after that, McDonald’s Corp., management training program. Some years later, he transitioned into the home improvement industry, first as an installer, then sales and management. He has earned industry certifications in many areas of home remodeling and won numerous awards for being a top Achiever within his company. More recently, he founded and is the managing partner of Blue Rock Capital Partners. BRCP helps investors increase their investment portfolio by investing in multi-family apartment buildings. Our team looks for, identifies, purchases, and improves value-add real estate opportunities. He specializes in Investor Relations and works closely with the acquisition, underwriting, and asset management teammates.
